Are you fed up of having to read the drivel posted on other sites?

We had become slightly disillusioned with the football writing scene. Tired of reading the constant stream of idiotic postings on others forums and football related sites, that just descend into petty name calling and mud slinging contests. We set out with the goal of achieving something that we hadn't seen in football forums for a longtime; a place that many of our younger readers have probably only dreamt about, or heard of in tales that their fathers recount about the 'good old days' when football forums teemed with interesting articles about what's really going on in the world of football.

"Get on with it... tell us what it is was you wanted to create?!" I hear you shout...

We wanted to create somewhere that actively encourages debate and confronts the biggest issues facing the sport but doesn't descend into these juvenile facile slanging match between rival fans. A haven for true football fans, where it doesn't matter that your team has only won the FA Vase, yet someone else's team has won the European Cup 5 times - Sure, they're going to look at you with a hint of pity in their eye, but they're not going to use it against you in a totally irrelevant context when you make a perfectly valid point in a debate against them.

What do we hope to establish?

Ultimately, In the long-term, we want to effect change. We feel that Football needs it and those at the top need replacing or maybe simply re-educating.
